How do I pick a song/do the judges have a preference?
Pick a song that reflects your personality and age. Also, keep in mind that it is a singing competition so the song should showcase your voice well. Song genre is up to you.

What should I wear?
Every performance is also visual so make sure to wear nice and professional clothing that enhance your song.

How many winners are there?
There will be 3 winners in both divisions (12 and under and 13 to 18) who will win a cash prize. To receive recognition and prize, the winners must be available May 22nd (See Winner's Performance below).

How much are the cash prizes?
This will be determined by the judges by the audition date so keep checking back for updates.

What is the Winner's Performance?
There will be an Awards Ceremony for the top 3 winners in each division during the CICC's Spring Concert on May 22nd. First Place winners will have the chance to perform their song.

How will I be judged?
The judges will be noting voice tone, diction, stage presentation, and overall performance. This sheet will be mailed to you by May 8th.

How do I sign up?
Mail the filled out entry form to P.O. Box 218211, Columbus, Ohio 43221-8211 with a check for $25 payable to Columbus Music and Art Academy with a picture and resume (if you have one).

What if I don't have a vocal coach?
This is completely fine. Just put "not any" on the appropriate line.
